The business was established in 1994 in the village of Cawdor by husband and wife team, Dave and Annabelle Tennant and has gone from strength to strength to become one of Nairnshire’s leading independent garages. With the garage now located in Nairn and son Kris at the helm, the business continues to grow and develop to meet the needs of 21st-century motoring.  We are also the only authorised Yankee Candle stockist in the local area too!

Bitz Garage is without a doubt one of the best-equipped garages in the area with no expense spared in investing in equipment and tools to keep up with advances in automotive technology. The latest extension to our premises houses Class 4 and Class 7 MOT test lanes plus three more service bays which compliment the busy adjoining workshop.

As well as servicing and repairing all cars and light commercial vehicles (up to 5 tonnes), Bitz Garage also boasts dealer-level computer diagnostics for almost all makes and models, including engine management, ABS, and supplementary restraint systems. Vehicle steering and suspension geometry are checked and adjusted using our state-of-the-art Hunter TD Elite CCD four-wheel alignment system, and we are pleased to now also be able to offer a TerraClean service, the amazing engine decarbonising system for both petrol and diesel engines.

While Kris and the team are busy working on your vehicle, customers are welcome to take a seat in our bright reception and MOT viewing areas and peruse our stock of genuine Yankee Candles, or alternatively cross the A96 to visit the Sainsbury Superstore. And with bus stops on the A96 Inverness to Aberdeen route directly opposite the front entrance, transport to and from the garage could not be easier should your vehicle need additional work.
